How to Sell to the Boomer Generation

Simple-Strategies-Shelf-Box-Contents-1024x820

One of the quandaries facing small business owners today is how to teach their millennial employees to sell to the Boomer Generation. With technology comes complications. In other words when you have a generation born and raised on the kind of technology, (i.e. Iphones), you have with us today, it can create a natural disconnect with members of the older generation that want face to face or voice to voice contact and customer service.

We have produced a program to help small business owners teach their millennial employees how to successfully interact with their Boomer generation customers. Check out the preview here.

Any way you look it it, the  Dr. Tony Alessandra’s  Platinum Rule applies. Let me quote his rule here.  “Treat people the way they want to be treated.” Put in another way, your customers want to be treated in a way that makes them feel like they are getting personalized and friendly service. They want to feel important.

When small business owners can help their millennial employees learn these skill sets it can go a long way in creating happy, satisfied and loyal customers.
